Austin Children's Museum

The morning of the wedding, we walked to the Austin Children's Museum after we got done at Mellow Johnny's bike shop. We got in free with our Omaha Children's Museum card and thought the kids would have fun running around before the wedding.

We were communicating with Doug's parents about lunch plans before we went in to the museum.

Mi Casa! exhibit. Locals didn't seem to like this exhibit, because it was the one thing that wasn't crowded!

The kids liked learning about instruments they play. Clair is just behind the drum set, trying to climb to the top!

Their ball exhibit wasn't as neat as Omaha's ball room! The golf balls were hard and dangerous!

This was in the little kid area that Clair was almost too old for!

They made use of all their available space! We were under the staircase in that exhibit. The kids had fun driving trucks through rubber mulch.

This is a picture showing 90% of the museum! It was very small compared to our Children's Museum in Omaha! We are definitely spoiled!

Alden enjoyed playing with K'NEX. He asked what these toys were and he told us that they were not as fun as LEGOS.

He tried to put bolts into holes to build things, but the bolts were too small and went right through!

We watched people repel down this building for a Make-A-Wish fundraiser. The kids thought it was cool to watch! (If you click on the picture it will get larger and you can see people repelling down it!)
