An Afternoon At OCM

Doug went with us to the Omaha Children's Museum one Wednesday afternoon. We spent a lot of time in the supermarket.
Clair loves her milk, bananas, and cheese! Not too interested in veggies or meat!

Disgruntled shopper...Samantha tries to argue about the price of an item.

Alden patiently waited for his items to be scanned by Samantha. Doug supervised!

Clair's 1st bike ride! Good thing there were no pedals to worry about!

Enjoying some outdoor fun in the Big Backyard Exhibit upstairs.

Potty Time

Back in January Alden spent lots of time in the bathroom trying to figure out this Potty thing.
Many Books were read and Movies watched but the boy finally got the hang of it.
Congrats to Alden on being the master of his bladder.

Adventures in Babysitting

I started watching my friend Lindsey's kids a few times a month in the afternoons. Grant is 5 1/2 (and in the same preschool class as Samantha) and Launa is 2. The 3 older kids play really well together and Launa, Clair, & I have had many tea parties and built lego cities together while the older kids are playing pirates and superheroes.

A day the the Omaha Children's Museum

In January, we went to the Children's Museum in Omaha with our friends Mandy & Caden.

She looks like she is in "Super Market Sweep" Running up to the check out.

"More Milk Please"

"Can I help you?"

"Hummmm, So many options"

Alden was "utterly" impressed by this cow.

Clair is playing on same slides that Doug & I used to play on at Richmond Gordman's store in Bellevue when we were little. Our parents would shop and we would play! BEST STORE EVER!! :)

Grilling up some lunch!

The big kids liked the Elephant Slide.
Clair enjoyed the ball room!

Clair gets her Check up

Clair had her 15month check up a little late. It kept getting put off because she had a fever or cough. But we finally got her in at a time she was happy and healthy. Every thing was good and she is growing as she should.
Clair waiting for Uncle Tom.

Sam forcing a smile while watching a movie.

Alden making smiling look painful.

Clair Still waiting.

We distracted our Kids with Ipods and movies. Sam was watching Tinkerbell 3 and Alden was watching Peter Pan 2. I got them special headphones that restrict how loud it can get. These headphones work great stay on their head and they cant turn it up to loud.

Snow Day

Here we are waiting for Spring to spring and I go and post snow pictures.

Clair got the best seat in the house as Michelle scooped the Drive way.

Sam making a snow angel in the Driveway.

Alden put his own "Alden" twist on the snow angel and made snow faces. Not sure why but he got some nice red cheeks from his hard work. He made "funny" "mad" "happy" and "mean" snow faces. Really just looked like he stuck his face in the snow to us would have been neat to see his expressions as he made them on the other side.

Clair finally Got Free once The driveway was clear. She was unsure about the whole walking in snow thing.

Here comes 2011

So the new year started with Grandma and Grandpa watching the trio overnight to allow Michelle and I to go out to eat and to a movie.

The morning of the 31st. Alden playing with some of his new toys.

New years day and Clair is enjoying riding in a dump truck. If she smelled like strawberries she would be a lot like Lots-o.

Jan 2 the kids had way to much fun with Dr. Drill-N-Fill.

Clair enjoyed Doug's new running hat. She would put it on and run around until she hit something. (someone should put pants on that kid)

RRRRRRRRRR.... Playing pirates with Caden.
I like the pink dog the best. Alden might be the only pirate with a trusty poodle.

Holman Christmas - OUR FINAL CHRISTMAS FROM THE 2010 CHRISTMAS SEASON!

Last but not least we finished off Christmas with Doug's Mom's Side of the family. There was lots of noise and fun with lots of little kids there. We some how failed to get a picture of all the kids in attendence. Clair and Aubrey had fun playing together. Sam and Alden enjoyed just watching Nick and Aaron play their Nintendo DS and Aaron's stacking cups tricks. It was a good way to end the Christmas Season.

This is as close as we go to a group photo of the kids. That is Nick with our 3 waiting to open presents.

Clair already enjoying her present with the wreckage of Christmas in the background.

Michelle thowing a bear at me.

Aburey and Clair looking at each other.
