Les Mils Body Combat Lunch and Kids Heath Expo

Well here was a busy Saturday. Michelle had a body combat lunch at the Plattsmouth Community Center. There was also the Kids Health Expo at the community center that Doug went to For McKnight Family Dental. Then to top that off Samantha had a soccer game that afternoon!

Michelle with Fellow instructor Sara A. They spilt up the tracks and each taught half. They get new choreography every quarter so as soon as they get one down it is time to learn the next material.

Warming up!

Kickin' it!

more kicking and sweating

RPM also had a lunch that day.

As did body pump.

McKnight family Dentals table. Rae Lynn was there too. Kids posed like they did something. They had fun at all the other stuff going on.

Soccer time. Yes, Samantha does have pink hair!

Jr. Blackshirts and Some Soccer

Fall is in Full Swing and Sam is loving soccer this year.
Her team is rolling over everybody. That's the advantage of being some of the older kids in the age group.

Other team kicked off. Sam attacks the ball.

She takes the ball.

And Scores.

Now time to head to Lincoln for the Ohio State v. Nebraska game. It was the first Big Ten Game in Memorial Stadium. Also it was the first time Clair was old enough for Jr. Black shirts. The minimum age is two.

Loaded up and rolling towards campus.

Stopped at a park on the way. We got their early to park so tried to have some fun.

Can Alden ever be serious?

So not one picture of all kids looking at the same time.

A stop at the Nebraska Union for some ice cream from the UNL Dairy Store. Now it is time to check into Jr. Blackshirts. They can check in 90min before kick off and we have 45 min to pick them up after the game.

The kids let their balloons go before we went in.

There they go with the rec center in the background

Clair did not want to part with hers

Sam got it away from her and it got stuck in the tree. Some how that was funny to them for days. When they let balloons go now they think they are going to Japan for their friends Caden and Cody to see.

Opening kick off of the game. Turned out to be a great game in the off and on rain that night. When we picked the kids up at 10:45 at night Alden was running around like a wild man with some other boys, Sam was doing crafts, and Clair was sharing her blanket with the other kids.

Soccer Sam

Another Soccer season is upon us!
Sam is a tiger once again and has two teammates back from last year.

Not sure why they teach kids to throw in with their feet crossed.

Will and Emily are back on her team and they added Jennie Gunter. They have been rolling over teams(not that we are keeping score) It is funny you can ask Samantha after the game how many goals she had and she will say "3" or "4" when she really had lots more. I guess if we were keeping score she might have a better idea. For now she is enjoying being the oldest in the age group and laughing a lot as she goes.

British Soccer Camp

Alden & Samantha went to the British Soccer Camp again this summer! This was Alden's 1st year and he did AWESOME! :) It was very hot during camp and Alden was the youngest kid at camp!
On the 1st day of camp!

First meeting with Coach Tom!

They played lots of fun games! They tucked the "pennies" into their shorts and when someone grabbed the "penny" they were out of the game.
LOTS of water was consumed this week!

And more water!

Alden & Samantha having fun together!

Lining up to play Austin Powers...their favorite game!
On the last day, the kids painted their faces to support their team - ENGLAND.

Drew & Emily Moyer also did the soccer camp with them this year. They were all team ENGLAND.

Alden was very proud of his soccer skills!

The "littlest" kids with Coach Tom.

This was the whole camp! It had a very low attendance this year! I wish more kids would go to this camp! They got a soccer ball, tshirt, and soccer jersey! Its such a good experience for any kid wanting to play soccer!

After the camp was over, they had a water fight! The coach lined up cones that the kids couldn't go past and they just had to shoot their water guns at the coach!

Alison dumped the water bucket on the coach and the coach picked up Samantha and ran around with her!

Next was Alden! He wasn't quite sure about it, but I thought it was fun! The coach was very good at his job! The kids loved him!

The little sisters could only watch their older siblings play soccer! They did so well all week long! They are excited for their turn in a few years!

Micro Soccer

Samantha had a fun season of Micro Soccer! Her cousins - Drew & Emily - were both on her team and her coaches - Anna & Laura - are our babysitters! Samantha will have 2 more Micro Soccer seasons - Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 (with Alden)

Alden can play Micro Soccer next Spring! One more season on the sidelines!

Tunnel after the victory! (I think we won this one - we don't keep score, but I think it's fair to say we won this one!)
They all got medals after the final game! The coaches brought ice cream sandwiches for the kids and we all hung out after the game on the field.

Soccer Sam

Sam's Soccer season has been clicking along. She enjoys it so much and giggles all the time she is out on the field.
Alden and his "girlfriend" Mikena in the cheap seats watching their older siblings play.

Sam is tough. In this picture she ended up on the ball as is about to be kicked. But she hopped back up and kept playing. Lots of kids in this league when they hit the ground it is production to get them back up and stop crying. Although, Samantha did get a bad bloody nose when her teammate accidentally hit her with a ball during practice, and she cried quite a bit then. I'm pretty sure the tears were about the blood and not the pain!

Smiling Sammy

Doing drills
