Huskers v. Norfolk State

On Tuesday, Sam rode with Grandpa McKnight to Lincoln to meet me after I got off work at the Health Center. The 3 of us went to the Nebraska Basketball game. Samantha watched the big screens alot and the cheerleaders made a visit up to our section to see Samantha. She didn't realy know what to think, but I'm sure she thought she was pretty cool!

One Last Walk

On Monday, Michelle, Sam, and Alden went for one last walk because of the great day! Samantha enjoyed running along side the stroller, except for when they would pass a dog. Then she made Michelle buckle her back in the stroller because she thought she was safe from the dogs there!

Cecil's 80th Birthday Party

Cecil celebrated his 80th birthday on November 3rd and his kids threw him an 80th birthday party on Saturday for all his friends/family. It was a very nice party. Brandon, Jamie, Sandy, Me, Alden, Samantha and Greg pose for a picture before the party starts.
The grandkids (and Great-Grandkids) that came posed for a picture with Cecil. (4 grandkids were missing)
Great-Aunt Debbie and Alden. (She held Alden for almost the entire party! Her arms have got to be tired!)

Alden's Baptism

LJ & Alden (LJ is Michelle's cousin's son and they are 3 weeks apart)
Alden's Godfather's (Uncle Chris & Uncle Greg)
Our little family of 4!
Auntie Debra with Samantha and Alden
Debra performed the service for us. Alden really like the water when she put it on his head...he smiled up at her.
Alden was awake for the service, but didn't stay awake for the cake.
It was a very special day for us and are so happy so many people came to celebrate the day with us.

Samantha's Party

Smiling with her Tinkerbell cake!
Saying Cheese before the party!

Samantha had a great time at her party. We had a Tinkerbell theme and had a Tinkerbell cake. She got a lot of great toys! Just to name a few.... money, books, puzzles, clothes, my little pony, beanie baby, vanity set, little people holiday sets, and a 4 wheeler (from Grandpa Merritt).

1 Month Old

Alden turned 1 month on November 5th. Grandma Merritt and Michelle took him to the mall to get his picture taken.
He is growing like crazy. He is getting too long for Newborn clothes already! He smiled for the first time (while he was awake) yesterday. He continues to be a good baby, despite Samantha's rough housing with him!

Leaves & Soccer

We went to the park last Sunday and went for a walk. It was a very nice day. Samantha played in the leaves and Alden enjoyed a stoller ride. Sam and I played soccer and Michelle and Alden watched.
Sam liked to pick up the soccer ball more than kicking it!

Alden--Just hanging out!

Our new stroller! (A two seater)

Faithful Husker Fans?

The 4 of us watched the Huskers loose to Kansas on Saturday. :( The kids got dressed in their Husker gear, but it didn't seem to help! (In case you didn't know...the Huskers haven't won a single game since Alden was born!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Pea In The Pod
Tinkerbell

We can't believe that Halloween is already over for this year and that Christmas is right around the corner!! Samantha had a very eventful Halloween this year. She went with Grandma Sandy to take Auntie Debra to the airport and they left at 7:30am!! Then, they stopped by to see some of Grandma Sandy's friends to show off her Tinkerbell costume. They came back to our house for a quick lunch and then it was off to Nebraska City for Michelle, Sam and Alden to show off the costumes in Nebraska City. Grandma and Grandpa Merritt took Sam and Alden trick-or-treating around the mall. Then it was back to Plattsmouth to trick-or-treat at Grandma Sandy's for sugar cookies! Then, they picked up me and we headed to the Great-Grandparents' houses. We finally ended up at home for supper and then I took Sam back trick-or-treating around town and Michelle and Alden handed out candy at our house. Sam had a good time, but Alden could have cared less!
