One Last Spray Park Visit

On the last official day of summer (for us), August 19th, we took one last trip to the spray park! It wasn't busy because most of the kids in the neighborhood were already back in school. The kids had fun and it was a great day for being near the water! It was a great end to summer!

Our Favorite Summer Activity: Going to the Spray Park

We went to the spray park once again on August 12th! We picked up my mom on the way there! My kids LOVE it when Grandma Nancy goes with us places! Our friends Christie & Mike Haag, Jayger & Mikena and Jennifer Teeter, McKenzie, Riley, & Makaya all met us there too! It was a fun day with friends!

Spray Park

We went to the spray park in Papillion in July with my mom and my friend Christie and her two kids: Jayger & Mikena. The kids had a blast with their friends. Clair had a lot of fun with Grandma Nancy because she was even willing to get wet!

We're back! Sorry for the delay...it's time to get caught up again!

One of our favorite summer activities is going to the spray park in Papillion! It's free and hours of entertainment for the kiddos.

On this specific day, I met my friend from high school there -Jennifer Teeter. She now lives in Bellevue, but used to live close to the Spray Park. She has 3 girls - McKenzie (who is old than Samantha), Riley (who is Samantha's age) and Makaya (who is Clair's age).

Alden's whole goal for this day was to run the water cannon gun! He waited patiently for it to be open and then had a blast with it!

Spray Park Summer 2010 - Take 1, 2, & 3

We went to the Spray Park in Papillion for the 1st time this year on July 2nd. Since then, we have been there 2 more times, so I'm just grouping all of the photos into one post. Samantha & Alden continue to LOVE the water and the sand. They have had fun with lots of their friends! Clair has yet to really like the water spraying her, so she just hangs out with the moms! It is the perfect place for a hot summer afternoon! It's FREE and provides HOURS of entertainment with NO fighting between siblings this year! :)

Spray Park Take 3

We went back to the spray park last week to play. It was our 3rd trip there this summer! The kids just love it and the best part is - it's FREE!! :) We stopped at Target to grab some stuff for sandwiches and had a picnic when we got there. It was a very hot day, so the water felt very good to the kids. I wanted to run through the water, but didn't bring my swimsuit! Samantha has gotten very brave at the spray park and will now run through all of the water features! I think it even helped in the pool a little bit. I'm sure it will be a frequent place for us next summer.

Spray Park

We met some friends in Papillion at the Spray Park last week and had a great time. My friends Judy & Mandy & all their boys met us there after Alden's doctor appointment. It wasn't all that hot, but at least sun was out! Alden LOVES the water and it turns out the old kids LOVE the sand! Alden could probably play in the water for hours by himself if you let him. Samantha, Cody, Caden, Isaiah, & Caleb played in the sand almost the whole time we were there. Aside from a few older bullies that wouldn't let Alden play in the sand - the day was great success. (Unless you count Cody's broken toe -but that happened before they got to the spray park that day! :) ) When we were getting ready to leave, I told Samantha to clean the sand off her behind by squatting over the water spray coming out of the ground. She actually listened and found it fun! We may have to take one more trip to the spray park before summer is over!
