Kindergarten Field Trip to Bloom Where You're Planted Farm

On October 6th Samantha had her 1st field trip to Bloom Where You're Planted Pumpkin Patch and Farm near Avoca, Nebraska. I got to meet her there and spend the day with her!

I can't believe she's this big already!

Playing with her friends

Pumping the water!

In the hay maze with her friend Kaia.

Dressing up a scarecrow!

INSIDE the tire swing!

Checking out the horses! (Not getting to close since she's allergic...)

Looking at all the different types of pumpkins with her class.

K-1 Class with Mrs. Morrison

Trying to rope a cow with her best friend Jayda!

Riding a horse swing made out of tires.

She loved this!

She spent lots of time with her friends on this huge tire swing!

Checking out the tractor. She wasn't very interested...but we took a picture anyway.

We had a great day together, but when it was time to go home, she insisted on riding the bus with her friends and not riding home with her mom. :(

Pumpkin Ridge 2011

We have been slacking.... but here we go.

We spent a Saturday afternoon at Pumpkin Ridge in Nebraska City.

The kids had a great time searching for that perfect pumpkin!

Alden's photography. Not bad if his lazy father would have just edited the picture you would have never know.

Sam's Find!

Alden Found his!

Not sure what is going on here.

Debbie and Mike Arrive!

The kids with the take.

All those attempts and I'm not sure we got a "good" one but we did capture some great ones.

Sam now has the camera.

I like how the photographer got the tip of her toes.

We all had a great time and Enjoy talking to the owners of the farm. The kids get a kick out of going out into the field and finding their very own pumpkins!
