Last Saturday we went to the Husker game in Lincoln and on the way, we stopped at Doug's parent's house to drop off Alden because Sandy watched him. We attempted to take a few "brother-sister" pictures, but it didn't work. You can see the resulting pictures that we did get on Grandma's couch! :) When we got to Lincoln it was a little later and more crowded than normal, so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted to, but we still went to the Husker Nation Pavillion and took a couple pictures and walked around with Samantha. After that, we walked Samantha to the Campus Rec Center and checked her in to Jr. Blackshirts. The game was pretty fun. Lots of scoring, but a lot of penalties and reviews by the refs lengthened the game! Samantha seemed to have fun at Jr. Blackshirts and they found all of her lunch/snacks, so she wasn't starving when we picked her up at 9:30pm! Looking forward to the next game v. VA Tech on Sept 27th!!
