Samantha, Alden & I traveled to Lincoln to meet up with some friends on Monday. Doug had 2 friends in his dental school class that had babies last Sept. and Oct. Dori lives in Lincoln with her husband Steve and Beth lives in Alabama while her husband, Jonas, goes through Oral Surgery School. Beth came for a visit and was staying with Dori in Lincoln, and they invited us to come play on Monday. It was a lot of fun to see Beth. It has been 3 years since the boys graduated from Dental School ans she moved away. It was very entertaining watching the boys interact - Jaden was born in Sept '07 and James was born in Oct '07 and Dori & Steve adopted him from Korea and he arrived in Nebraska in May of this year. Alden is only a week older than James and they make the same noises and are both learning to crawl. Jaden has mastered crawling and is eating table food and can pull himself up on anything and everything! Dori cooked us all lunch and then we headed for the Lincoln Children's Zoo. Samantha had a good time looking at the different animals and the boys liked being out and about outside. We were able to watch a seal show, so that was neat. It was rather hot, so we stayed for a few hours and then made a trip to the Health Center to visit my former co-workers and then off to Kathy & Nathan's house for quick visit.
