Thursday was our "Day Off". Really, it was just our "Morning Off" from the parks. We took the morning to relax and went to Downtown Disney. By relaxing I mean we got up at 8:30 instead of 6:30. Downtown Disney is the shopping area exclusive to Disney. They have the largest store with the widest selection of Disney merchandise you could ever imagine called "Wide World of Disney." We literally spent at least 2 hours in that store trying to figure out which souvenirs we wanted. Each of us got a T-Shirt and the kids got a stuffed animal. Samantha got a Dori fish and Alden got a Pluto. Team Mickey was another store we spent a lot of time in. I got 2 ESPN shirts, because I love ESPN! Alden got a Mickey soccer ball and Sam got an ESPN shirt. Next it was on to "Once Upon A Toy", where the kids had the most fun. Samantha filled up a box with Mr. Potato Head accessories. It was really neat because they had Mouse Ears and Donald Duck's mouth and Goofy's Hat (things you couldn't find in a regular store to accessorize Mr. Potato Head). Alden got some little cars with Monster's Inc and Nemo and other other characters on them. Samantha also got a Dress Up Minnie Mouse stuffed doll and a Tinker Bell costume to change her into. I was really disappointed because the Scrapbook Store was closed, so we decided to head to the McDonald's on Disney Property for lunch. Then it was time for naps and to get ready for "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party"...
