Epcot - Afternoon/Evening

After the princess breakfast, we walked to "The Land" and I went on "Soarin' " which is a new ride at Epcot. Doug couldn't go on it, so I had to try it out alone. Doug took the kids to walk around "The Seas" area while I rode the ride. Then, we all headed to the "The Seas With Nemo". Alden didn't like the dark ride down to the bottom level to look at the fish, but once we were down there, he loved looking at the fish and the sting rays. We went to a little show called "Turtle Talk with Crush". Crush the turtle from Nemo talked to the kids and parents in the audience. Sam really liked it. After that, we walked back to "The Land" and went on the "Living with the Land" ride. It was nice and cool on the ride and gave our feet a break. When we got off the ride, there was a Disney Cast Member standing there saying that it was our lucky day because we all received a pin trading set as part of the Disney Celebration of a Million Dreams Giveaway! All 4 of us got a set. Then it was time to eat, we walked over to Innovations and ate lunch.
After lunch we went to the special character meet and greet for Disney Visa Carholders only (we even got a free 5 X 7 picture from the meet and greet!. We all got to go into a room and meet Minnie and Mickey and Goofy all by ourselves. Sam thought that was pretty cool! Mickey always has his arms out for Sam to run to him, but she always runs to Minnie first! It's too cute! We walked to "Journey Into Immagination" with Figment. Alden LOVED it! It was his favorite ride. He danced and clapped and laughed at the purple dragon. When you get out of the ride, there are all sorts of things for kids to play with. Sam jumped on squared and made them light up and play music.

Then we walked around the countries and we found Belle for Sam to see. It turned out to be the same girl that was Belle for our princess breakfast and she remembered us! We stopped by the Baby Care center for some cool air because it was VERY hot that day. Then, we headed for the exit, as both kids were getting crabby. We drove around Disney property and then we ended up at Downtown Disney (a shopping area with exclusive DisneyWorld shops). We ate a light supper and looked around some shops before we headed home...
