BEE MOVIE

Auntie Debra (DEBO as Samantha is currently calling her) and Grandma McKnight took Samantha to see "A Bee Movie" last Friday. Samantha has been saying "BEE, DEBO" for about a month, so it was much anticipated. Samantha had a good time. Afterward, Debra and Sam went to the mall to play and then they all went to a "Tea Party" at Debra's church.

"Uncle Joel"

Doug's friend Joel (Samantha calls him Uncle Joel) stopped by for a vist last week. Samantha enjoys it when Joel pesters her! Samantha made Joel pick him up while he was already holding Alden! He's talented! haha.

On Sunday, we had the Richardarson Thanksgiving in Pawnee City with my family. We also celebrated "Summer & Fall" birthdays.

Weekend in Humboldt

On Saturday, I helped throw a baby shower for my friend Mandy and her daughter Lili in Humboldt. Lili is 3 weeks younger than Alden. That night our parents watch the kids while Mandy and her husband Quentin and Doug & I went to Sabetha to eat and get away from the kids for a while. Alden, Michelle, Samantha, Mandy, & Lili

Samantha goofing around!

Poor Alden!! Samantha likes to sweeze him when she gives him a hug.

The day after...

I got up early (4am) and went shopping on the day after Thanksgiving and Doug watched the kids! He went out to his parents house to watch the Huskers lose to Colorado and Debbie & Greg were out there too.

Thanksgiving

We went to Doug's cousin Michelle's house in Bennett for Thanksgiving Day. Samantha and Shayle played the whole day. Alden was very smiley and "cooed" at everyone that held him. That night we put up our Christmas tree and Samantha loves it because she is in charge of turning the lights on in the morning and off at night before we go to bed.

Huskers v. Norfolk State

On Tuesday, Sam rode with Grandpa McKnight to Lincoln to meet me after I got off work at the Health Center. The 3 of us went to the Nebraska Basketball game. Samantha watched the big screens alot and the cheerleaders made a visit up to our section to see Samantha. She didn't realy know what to think, but I'm sure she thought she was pretty cool!

One Last Walk

On Monday, Michelle, Sam, and Alden went for one last walk because of the great day! Samantha enjoyed running along side the stroller, except for when they would pass a dog. Then she made Michelle buckle her back in the stroller because she thought she was safe from the dogs there!

Cecil's 80th Birthday Party

Cecil celebrated his 80th birthday on November 3rd and his kids threw him an 80th birthday party on Saturday for all his friends/family. It was a very nice party. Brandon, Jamie, Sandy, Me, Alden, Samantha and Greg pose for a picture before the party starts.
The grandkids (and Great-Grandkids) that came posed for a picture with Cecil. (4 grandkids were missing)
Great-Aunt Debbie and Alden. (She held Alden for almost the entire party! Her arms have got to be tired!)

Alden's Baptism

Our little family of 4!
Auntie Debra with Samantha and Alden
Debra performed the service for us. Alden really like the water when she put it on his head...he smiled up at her.
Alden was awake for the service, but didn't stay awake for the cake.
It was a very special day for us and are so happy so many people came to celebrate the day with us.
