Baby "Albo"

Samantha can't say "Alden", so she calls him "Albo". It's quite cute, and it's become his new nickname! Poor guy--even Michelle & I call him Baby Albo now! Albo continues to grow and continues to be a good baby.

Starting to Talk...

Samantha is finally starting to talk more. She has expanded her vocabulary to: mom, dad, Debra, Chris, (sorry Greg-it's just too hard to say), ELMO, milk, water, up, down, red, blue, green, yes, no, hot, "there it is" and a few other words here and there! We are just glad she saying more words!

Big Sister Samantha

Samantha is adjusting to life as a big sister! She loved Alden right from the start and loved to give him kisses, but a few days ago she decided she was jealous! She didn't like it when Alden was held by her mom or her grandma, and started to push Alden away! She has gotten a little better, however we still have to be careful not to leave them alone together!! We are working on giving Samantha more 1 on 1 attention like she is used to, but it's a lot more difficult now!

A Growing Boy...

Alden is already gaining weight. We went to the doctor last Wednesday and he was back up to 7 lbs! He still fits in preemie clothes the best right now! I'm sure it won't be long and he'll be too big for them! Michelle's mom stayed with us for about 5 days and helped us get settled with 2 kids. It's much different now! Alden is still a very good baby. He sleeps in 3 to 4 hours stretches at night and only cries when he needs to be fed or changed!

Going Home!

We finally went home from the hopsital on Monday. Alden had his first car trip. He didn't seem to mind (afterall, he just slept the whole way home).

Alden's first NFL Sunday

Alden and Samantha got all dressed up for the Husker game, however it didn't seem to help the Huskers win!!

Just wanted to let everyone know, we had a baby boy on Friday morning. Michelle's water broke early Friday morning and she had a c-section that morning. We will be at Methodist Hospital in Omaha probably until Monday, so we will post some pictures when we get home!

"Baby Brother" Name Update

We have finally decided on a name!! However....we are going to be mean and not tell anyone until the baby is here! :) Sorry! Don't worry it's less than 2 weeks away! Yeah!!!
